To all my cyphing hommies we're one step closer to being able to enjoy our Medical Cannabis in public with no fear. Reports released yesterday are saying that we are one step closer to a more reasonable life style for medical marijuana users. According to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, President Obama will give the power to each state to make their own medical marijuana laws and the federal government will have no word nor the right to prosecute Care Givers, Shop Owners and patients. This is a huge break through given the amount of people who have gotten arrested in the last 16years for providing a more holistic and natural form of medication for people suffering from cancer, Aids and severe body pain. As stated by President Obama, who's own mother passed away due to cancer, that he saw no difference between morphine and medical marijuana for pain relief. They both serve the same purpose with the exception that medical marijuana does not contribute to the poisoning of your liver, and for those that say medical marijuana will increase the potential for lung Cancer.. Lets look at the facts THC which is the main component in marijuana can help reduce the possibility of lung cancer. THC's main compounds help stop the growth of tumors and the spreading of the cancer to other vital organs. All the while morphine only stops the pain with no curing side effect. Let's be real friends, Marijuana is a miracle drug that has been used for thousands of years to help ones physical ailments, so why should the government feel the need to interfere with something that comes naturally from the earth? Let the states make their own choices regarding the issue and controlling it the way we control prescription drugs such as Adderal, Vicoden, Morphine and all these lab made "helpers".
Why should someone that is paying their taxes and helping others in need have to go to jail when he is doing nothing wrong in his own state? If the state passes Medical marijuana use the federal government should not be able to impose and unlawfully arrest contributing citizens of society. How about we look at the big picture, why doesn't the federal government spend all the money they do on raiding grow farms, shops and patients on creating a sustainable health insurance program for the people whom can't afford open heart surgery? Why don't they spend that money on contributing to the hundreds of millions of dollars students have to pay banks due to loans for college?
Thank you Mr. president for giving us another reason to have hope in you and your office.
